I started off reading your posts at Write Nonfiction in November and was extremely impressed by “A New Publishing World Requires a New Type of Writer.”

For most of us it is a shock when starting out to find that writing the book is the easy part. Such a large amount of time needs to be spent networking and promoting in order to succeed, and as you mention in your post, it is no longer enough to be a great writer, you also need to be your own publicist and business manager to make sales.

I will definitely be reading through more of your advice about social networking and taking action.
