This weekend I spent three hours listening to author Wayne Dyer speak about his latest book, Wishes Fulfilled. It’s his 30th book. Pretty amazing. I started wondering if I had 30 books in me.
He talked about writing and how he gets inspired. He feels passionate about a subject. He feels purposeful about writing something. He sits down. He waits for the words to come to him, through him.
He used to never write (or speak) about God. Now his work is filled with spiritual language. He evolved as a writer and a speaker. He followed his passion, his purpose, his inspiration.
Thirty books later… Dr. Dyer is an internationally renowned author and speaker in the field of self-development. He has created many audio programs and videos and has appeared on thousands of television and radio shows. You can see him talking about his newest book on PBS, one of his favorite venues. His books Manifest Your Destiny, Wisdom of the Ages, There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem, and the New York Times bestsellers 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace, The Power of Intention, Inspiration, Change Your Thoughts—Change Your Life, Excuses Begone, and now Wishes Fulfilled have all been featured as National Public Television specials.
He is affectionately called the “father of motivation” by his fans. He’s also the father of 8 kids…and 30 books.
Could you write 30 books if you followed your passion, purpose and inspiration? Leave me a comment and let me know.
