With less than a week left until January ends, it’s time to see how how your writing year is shaping up. Often the remaining 11 months take on the same basic energy of the first month of the year. So, how’s the year looking for you?
Mine wasn’t looking so great at first. With my daughter home from college and all sorts of odd things going on for the first two weeks, I had to throw my hands in the air and basically give up on getting much done. Then things geared up…
Two days with Dan Poynter, a day at a National Speakers Association event and new accountability partners left and right has gotten me revved up big time. Now I’m in the midst of editing two existing book manuscripts, reading three of my short self-published books for e-book conversion, taking on another Examiner column, and recording some classes. I’m also writing or editing for two hours each morning.
For the first time in a long time I actually feel like I’m getting things–big things–accomplished.
What about you? How did January look? Are you getting things accomplished? If not, you still have a few days to change the energy and gear up before month end. Set the pace the rest of the year now!
